Cobham Hall School is the only Round Square Independent Boarding and Day School for girls aged 11 - 18 in the UK.  We believe that education should extend beyond the classroom to personal development and global responsibility.  The Curriculum is interwoven with girls encouraged to apply learning from one subject to another, and challenged both inside and outside the classroom.  Through this integrated approach, Cobham Hall aspires to produce young women capable of more than just passing exams; young women who can step into the world with confidence in their abilities, ready to embrace opportunities, and embody Cobham Hall’s motto: ‘There is more in you than you think.’

About Cobham Hall School

Cobham Hall is unique; there is no other school in the world quite like it.  By offering a caring environment and an inclusive spirit, and encouraging girls to challenge themselves – both their abilities and their perceptions – and by their taking part in everything Cobham Hall has to offer, students discover more about themselves. In turn, girls excel academically and leave us fully prepared for the path they have chosen.

Girls acquire the knowledge they need to pass examinations, but also learn the skills needed to apply, assess, evaluate, use, re-evaluate, and develop that knowledge as they journey through life, enabling them to thrive after school and beyond in a world that constantly changes.

We believe it is the combination of five key reasons – focus on the individual, challenge and opportunities, pastoral care and wellbeing, diversity, and our inspirational setting – that result in each girl achieving more than they themselves believed possible.

Scholarships & Bursaries

Scholarships

Lower and Middle School Scholarships are available in Sport, Art, Music, Drama or Round Square. Students should apply in writing to the Headmaster. General Scholarships are by invitation only. Girls with the potential for obtaining a General Scholarship are identified through Entrance Assessments and will be invited to sit a General Scholarship examination.

Bursaries

The School may consider applications for a Bursary from parents of girls who have passed our Entrance Assessments and been offered a full fee paying place.

Choosing a school is a big decision, so it is important to make the right one. For us, joining Cobham Hall means joining a family, and in our experience, girls do best if they commit themselves fully to what the School stands for. We are looking for girls who are willing to experience and enjoy all the School has to offer them.
