About Saint Martin's

At Saint Martin’s our aim is to provide girls with an all-round education in a supportive environment where every girl feels safe, happy, cared for and valued as an individual. Girls at Saint Martin’s achieve the highest academic standards but we believe that education is far more than simply the acquisition of examination results. Our dedicated staff are highly qualified experts in the education of girls. They are extremely committed to inspire girls to aim high and achieve their full potential.

We firmly believe in educating the whole person and realise that learning takes place outside of the classroom as well as in lessons. At Saint Martin’s there is a full programme of extra-curricular activities on offer. Our girls excel in sport, music, drama, dance as well as benefitting from the many trips and visits on offer.

We are very proud of being a girls’ school. There are many benefits of single sex education. Girls mature at a different rate to boys. In a girls’ school we can provide an education geared specifically to their needs. Girls can be themselves and fully explore all the opportunities available to them. Their physical and intellectual confidence grows as they take on leadership roles and inspire others. There is no gender stereotyping. In a girls’ school girls excel as much in Physics, Design Technology and Maths as they do in English, Drama or Art. As Head of Saint Martin’s I am a member of the Girls’ Schools Association which is an organisation committed to girls’ education.

Girls leave Saint Martin’s as well-educated young women with highly developed interpersonal skills and a broad range of interests. They are confident and well-prepared for the next exciting phase of their lives.

The best way to find out more about Saint Martin’s is to come and visit us, either at one of our open events or by making an individual appointment. We are incredibly proud of our school and its beautiful setting surrounding Malvern Hall
